Mrs. Omofemiwa Jimoh lives on the outskirts of Igbotako in the southern part of Ondo state. The gunmen reportedly broke in and seized her at about 8:30 p.m. She was taken without resistance to an unknown destination.
The family sources told Saharareporters that the home where Mrs. Ibrahim was kidnapped has little or no security. As of the time of this report, the family had yet to be contacted by the kidnappers.
Mr. Ibrahim was sighted in his hometown on Saturday, and he held several meetings with political supporters. Sources also told SaharaReporters that the businessman has been chosen as the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo satte.
