Imo State: As at 11.30 this morning, electoral materials are yet to arrive in about 99 per cent of electoral booths in Imo State. In one or two booths where materials were said to have arrived, there are so much mix up as most of the voters cannot find their names on the register. People are phoning from all parts of Imo State to a local independent radio station, Hot 99.5 and giving situation reports from their booths.
· At Government College Owerri, materials have arrived but out of over 1,000 voters registered, only 300 names were found on the register.
· In many booths, materials were supplied lower than the number of registered voters and people have refused to vote until the final materials are supplied.
· Allegations of supply of fake materials are rife.11: 32 AM: Rivers State-Electoral fraud reported in Tai LGA in Ward 4 in Koroma community voters turnout is very low. INEC stafff is allowing people to thumbprint ballot papers regardless of accreditation.
Lagos State: Accreditation going well in Raymond Njoku/Maduike Street in SW, ikoyi. No queues reported.
11: 15 AM: Oyo State-There is a low turn out in entire area. Police and army harrasing people and making most people to stay indoors. Oyo state officials of the PDP are violating no movement order imposed by INEC. Government officials are moving around with thugs, harassing voters in Ibadan.
Ndokwa west LGA of Delta state-2 persons reportedly shot dead by armed men who came to snatch ballot box at ward 6 Ogbe Ogume.
Sokoto State: Dogondaji,Tambuwal L/G sokoto. No inec official in the whole ward accreditation is yet to start.
Niger state: Agaie township- Accreditation have not started as noINEC official in most of the polling units.
Anambra State: In Oraifite there is no sign of Polling Agents. One MOPOL, One Man'O'War, and people who are waiting to be accredited and to vote.
Borno state-In Jere LGA polling unit 04/05/06 and 07 are undergoing accreditation smoothly, but more security is needed.
Kaduna State: In most part of Zaria city,INEC officials are no where to be found.
Bauchi State: Returning Officers are about now concluding the distribution of election materials in the various polling units in Raga Ward in Udubo District, Gamawa Fed. Constituency.
Lagos State: 10 : 14 AM-Accreditation is going on smoothly in Fagba area of Iju in Lagos State. So far the turnout of voters for accreditation has been very impressive.
9: 17 AM: FCT ABUJA- Accreditation of voters is going on smoothly as INEC officials arrived early at Polling Unit 37/06/01/020 Area 11-Garki.
RIVERS state, Port Harcourt: Rupoku along Airport road. Agents are insisting on checking voters card at polling unit 14. Controversy has stalled accreditation.
Edo state: Fuga ward near Auchi- This is the electoral ward of the chief of staff to the president, area initially experienced presence of military men but accreditation started shortly ago as military men withdrew to the perimeter of voting centers.
9: 40 AM: Bayelsa State: Reports of electoral violence in Brasss LGA area. Details are sketchy.
Delta state: Warri, NNPC complex voting center. No INEC official in sight. Sources said the INEC office at the LGA headquarters was reportedly vandalized by unknown persons last night.
10: 05 AM: Ughelli, Delta state-All unit materials for Ward 1-Orogun in Ughelli North LGA snatched by heavily armed men. Gunshots heard in the area.
Adamawa State: Karewa ward , Yola- Accreditationnis going on smootly
Ekiti state: All National Assembly election in Ekiti state have been postponed till April 26th 2011.
Cross Rivers State: Obrubra- accreditation of voters going on well , so far
Delta State: INEC Officials attacked and disposed of election materials in Ughelli
10: 10 AM: Ughelli, Delta state-All unit materials for Ward 1-Orogun in Ughelli North LGA snatched by heavily armed men. Gunshots heard in the area.
Oghara: Accrediation is going peacefully in Oghara Ward 6.
