The former minister was seen in Lagos yesterday apparently unaware that his daughter had died.

Yasmine held a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bath, UK and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics (LSE). She also had a law degree from the University of London.

Her remains will be taken to Nigeria for burial by Jimi Lawal, a long time friend of Mr. El Rufai.
