Suspected Boko Haram insurgents struck in Kaduna this evening killing a mobile Policeman in Kakuri area. Kakuri is in Kaduna South local government area close to factory of Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), a local factory where the Nigerian army produces arms and ammunition for the Nigerian armed forces.

The assailants came aboard a car shot and killed the policeman and left with his rifle.

he latest murder has created uncertainty in Kaduna city leading to further checkpoints by soldiers and the police.
Also two policemen were reportedly shot in Rigasa area of Kaduna, they survived the attack and are currently hospitalized.
