The assault took place at about 8:30 p.m. The suspects shot their victims in cold blood according to the source.
Police commissioner in the state, Mr. Bala Hassan, confirmed the killings. The Joint Task Force on arriving at the area following a distress call, was said to have arrested some sect members suspected of carrying out the killings.
