Suspected Boko Haram Gun Down Two Customs Officers In Bauchi State

Bandits in possession of weapons suspected to be part of the Boko Haram sect have gunned down two customs officers in Bauchi state in attacks that the men have been carrying out in the state since Wednesday. Security personnel told SaharaReporters.

According to the military personnel, the suspected sect laid ambush on the Customs officers who were in convoy on official patrol along Bauchi-Yobe way in Darazo local government area of the state.

They also burnt down vehicles the officers were traveling in, while some of them escaped and others sustained injuries.

 Similarly, SaharaReporters also gathered that another set of Boko Haram launched sporadic attacks on soldiers and police officers in Misau in the state in the early hours of today.

The security agencies repelled their advances after which the bandits retreated.
