An attempt to cover up the real physical and mental health condition of brain-damaged Governor Danbaba Suntai failed last night in Abuja as Mr. Suntai was ushered before the media at retired General TY Danjuma's Guest house in Abuja shortly after arriving from the UK. Mr. Suntai spoke to the media claiming he had just arrived from Abuja (instead of London). The political cabal led by Danjuma had smuggled him from the Abuja airport to avoid a similar embarrassment, but a persistent media crew followed him to Danjuma's home and found out that the governor had not recovered from brain injury two after after a plane he piloted crashed near Yola in Adamawa state.
The cabal had hoped to return the governor to power in further attempts to prevent his deputy, Umar Garba from taking over as governor.
