US Confirms First Ebola Case

A traveler from Liberia to the United States has been officially diagnosed with Ebola, the United States Center For Disease Control and Prevention said today.

The individual is said to have left Liberia on the 19th of the month and arrived a day later, with no symptoms.

Some days later the patient began to show signs of the virus, prompting hospitalization and quarantine Sunday at a Texas, US, hospital.
