GhanaWeb reports that Avram Grant, Ghana’s new national team coach, has indicated that he is willing to consider allowing Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari back into the national squad, if they are willing to work for it.
Both Boateng and Muntari were suspended during Ghana’s disastrous showing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup for alleged misconduct displayed on and off the field, and have not been recalled for national team duty since then.

Avram Grant has also expressed his support towards retaining Asamoah Gyan as team captain although soccer analysts had expected Marseille winger, Andre Ayew, to be given the role..
“I expect that we can improve in every area and we will improve; myself and my players. As far as I know, Gyan did a good job.” Avram Grant said.
Avram Grant’s first assignment as Ghana’s head coach will be to see that Ghana’s national team performs well in the coming 2015 African Cup Of Nations being hosted by Equatorial Guinea.
During AFCON 2015, Ghana’s first tasks will be to emerge from the ‘Group of Death’ preliminary stage as the nation will vie for a spot against top teams from Algeria, South Africa and Senegal.
