Twelve of them were in the previous cabinet and worked with him over three years, while the other 12 are new.

The House of Assembly has confirmed receiving the list of the nominees for confirmation.  The nominees are to appear before the House next Tuesday.

Gov. Kashim sacked 22 Commissioners, special advisers and others aides due to the rift with his former boss, Ali Sherrif.

Meanwhile, the governor has appointed Hon. Modu Alhaji Musa as his new chief of staff.

The confirmation for the new commissioners will be delayed until the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential primary holding in Lagos tomorrow. The governor will then allocate ministries to respective commissioners after they have been screened and approved by the house.
