Rainbow Across My Country

Be Ye Not Afraid of CHANGE Deut 1:29

Nigerians, our nation is in a mess. Look around you, there's not much progress. Pres. Jonathan did not put us in this situation, but he has aggravated it.
We have been ripped off, ignored, lied to and taken for granted.
Politics is about honorable men representing the people.
We have no honorable men in the present government. No one champion the peoples' interests in Abuja, too often, they champion their interest and their party's interest. This government is over clueless, too corrupt and has no political WILL to effect change that will bring progress.

The current government is reckless in spending and is adding to our national debt. They say stealing is not corruption. Their saying goes 'If you leave a goat and a yam, the goat will eat the yam'. These are not the people to be trusted with our nation's wealth. Clearly they are eating all the yams they can possibly get. EFCC and ICPC under our Chief Yam Eater is comatose.

For six years, the scorecard for this government is dismal. Remember unending strikes. Education has not improved. Power is even more dismal. Infrastructures are in a sorry state. Unemployment is his best achievement. Boko Haram and insecurity. The Pres. even claimed it is our turn to experience terrorism. Remember the poorly equipped military and dead soldiers. Billions of dollars missing. Chibok girls are still missing. No accountability in government.

When you look ahead under these circumstances, the future is not very bright. There's the need to change course. We can no longer persevere with the affliction called Goodluck Jonathan. Our experience under him is heart-corroding.

We cannot maintain the status quo. We cannot afford it. Let's stop this wastefulness and corruption. Let's converge and reform our dear country. Let us go beyond our religion and ethnic bias and unite as a nation. Forward Nigeria!

Our attitude toward history and the sentiment we have for the young Buhari a military head of state should be dissolve. We should be educated enough to know there's a difference between Buhari of then and the Buhari of now. Buhari of now is a converted democrat with an outstanding public service pedigree like never before seen in our nation. He is trustworthy and with a professor of law in the person of Yemi Osibajo we can be sure they will steer us in the right path.

Let's sail together on this ship.

Be not afraid of change. Let this election mark a new direction in our history. Your contribution is your vote!

With love from your fellow citizen

After note: Stay vigilant, monitor your vote and shun violence!
