SaharaReporters learned from a source placed in the Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF) that Sharon Kasali, Executive Secretary of the PEF, returned to her office today despite her employment being terminated by President Jonathan yesterday.

“She is still in the office until now and has approved payments worth N6billion since she was removed that yesterday,” this source told SaharaReporters.

This PEF source also told SaharaReporters that Kasali is trying to cover up advanced payments she made for jobs not yet completed.

Kasali reportedly arrived with a group of policemen to guard her office. The police removed all employees on her floor in an attempt to veil her actions.

The Head of Human Resources, Richard Emekhaghor, is also coordinating the document tampering since yesterday. This was made possible because Executive Secretary Kasali sidetracked due employment processes and handpicked select individuals to work with her in the Finance, Budget, and IT departments.

SaharaReporters will continue to monitor developments of this story as they become available.
