Grisly Terrorist Attack In France Targets American Company, Leaves One Decapitated

Reports in southeastern France said that the head of one victim was covered in Arabic writing and stuck on a fence outside the gas factory outside the company.

One person was beheaded and two injured during a terrorist attack at an American-owned gas factory, Air Products, in Lyon, France. The terrorists ran into the factory area and decapitated one worker then unsuccessfully tried to blow up the factory containing highly flammable materials.

French President Francois Hollande said that the attack “bears the hallmarks of terrorism.” This was one of of three attacks made over the span of three hours in Kuwait and Tunisia, all expected to be in the name of radicalism.

Within hours of the attack a man was arrested who, according to officials, was previously been investigated over alleged ties with Islamic radicalism.

French media reports that the suspected terrorist was employed by the owner of the delivery company. The owner of the company was decapitated by the suspect.

In a press conference held in light of the attacks, President Hollande said the decapitated body had "inscriptions" on it. The French interior minister said: "A flag with Arabic writing on it was found at the scene."
