Boko Haram Kills 11 More In Two Suicide Bombings In Borno

Two separate bomb explosions have killed not fewer than 11  people and injured 20 others on a roadside in Borno State yesterday, police have said.

Borno state Police Commissioner, Aderemi Opadokun stated via text message that there was an explosion at Malari village along Bama/Konduga roadside yesterday in the afternoon. He said  11 people were killed with several others injured. 


He added that a suspected Boko Haram female suicide bomber detonated  Improvised Explosive Devices strapped to her body and succeeded in killing at least eight people critically injuring 13 persons in the first attack.


Similarly,  a second roadside blast killed three  persons and the suicide bomber along Allau Dam Road in  Konduga.

A University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital source also confirmed that some corpses were brought in yesterday with about 20 people with various degrees of injuries from the scene of the blasts to the Emergency Unit for treatment.

A top civilian JTF source said two female bombers attacked roadside along Konduga yesterday  where petty traders sold mangoes killing mostly aged women and kids.
 
The casualty figures from Konduga has dramatically increased the numbers of people killed in Borno yesterday alone to at least 160 persons.
 Boko Haram also killed at least 148 Muslims  in two separate attacks yesterday in Borno state.
