Former Bayelsa State Governor Diepreye Alameiseigha has rated the current administration of Seriake Dickson high above his predecessor, Timipre Sylva, declaring that Governor Dickson should be reelected for a second term.

Former Governor Alameisiegha said that though he is not out to castigate the six years administration of Former Governor Sylva, the Dickson administration has made more headway in infrastructural development despite challenges of dwindling State revenue and finances. The former governor made his position known at his country home in Ammassoma community of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.

"I feel very bitter when you come to government with good intentions, you start a project for the good of the people and that project is abandoned," former Governor Alameisiegha said. "So that period [under Sylva] was a set back," adding that he did not wish to castigate the Sylva administration.
