Remi Oyeyemi: A Hideous Face of Lies, Hate, and Deceit By Solomon Okocha

August 7, 2015

My next area of concern is the false and heinous allegation that $14 billion wealth has been linked to Amaechi. Yet again, this faceless liar, failed to furnish his barbaric story with facts. Has Nigeria become a Banana Republic where anybody can wake up from nowhere and declare that another person is $14 billion rich? What is the source of his information? Is this not a sign of a mind that is suffering from drug abuse related ailments? Your guess is as good as mine.

Michael Bassey Johnson, a Nigeria Poet and Writer, once said this: "Don't destroy yourself by allowing negative people add gibberish and debris to your character, reputation, and aspirations. Keep all dreams alive but discreet, so that those with unhealthy tongues won't have any other option than to infest themselves with their own diseases." I believe this line of thought with all my heart.

First of all, let me begin by establishing this point: the ugly character by name 'Remi Oyeyemi, who wrote an article (Stoning Amaechi) on Sahara Reporters, is to the best of my knowledge a fictitious creation, and the pseudo name of a 'mischievous' and 'sick' individual. The only reason why I am responding to his psychotic outburst against the former Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, is because like they say "silence is consent." And I also know that negative and false stories, have a way of sinking deep into the subconscious minds of gullible Nigerians, and it becomes truth in the long run.

If that crazy conjecture was put together in the name of Nyesom Wike, Patience Jonathan, Ayodele Fayose, Femi Fani-Kayode, or any other political opponent of Buhari and Amaechi, then my reaction to the treacherous script would have been different. What offends me most is that the animalistic citation, was published in the name of a phony boy who claims that he is a Consultant, and that he resides in United States of America.

Firstly, he labeled Amaechi, a vagabond who is now a corrupted billionaire reportedly worth almost $14 billion. Where he got this fabricated fallacy from is still a mystery to me, because even in his miserable write up, he woefully failed to clearly produce a faint or substantive evidence to back up his cantankerous accusations. Now if I may ask: how is a Amaechi a 'vagabond? The last time I checked, "a vagabond is a person who wanders from place to place without a home or job." As much as I know, Amaechi's father owns a house in Ubima, a village not too far from Port Harcourt. I also know that immediately after his University years, Rotimi Amaechi has never been without a job till date. How then can this lunatic describe Amaechi as a vagabond? How?

My next area of concern is the false and heinous allegation that $14 billion wealth has been linked to Amaechi. Yet again, this faceless liar, failed to furnish his barbaric story with facts. Has Nigeria become a Banana Republic where anybody can wake up from nowhere and declare that another person is $14 billion rich? What is the source of his information? Is this not a sign of a mind that is suffering from drug abuse related ailments? Your guess is as good as mine.

Like a diseased body with a running stomach, he went haywire, vomiting all sorts of unprintable invectives, with the sole aim of discrediting and dehumanizing the person of Amaechi. In a ridiculous attempt to give a face to his inordinate ambition, he invented a story where an unnamed "Common Man” is already making waves on the Internet alleging an 864 billion naira (sic) fraud against Amaechi. But in his usual criminal manner, he could not even produce the video link, or give the name of the said man.

After rigmarolling with mundane vociferation of corruption allegations against Amaechi, Remi Oyeyemi, navigated to the issue of workers salary in Rivers State. According to him, while workers were being owed backlogs of salaries in Rivers State, Amaechi bankrolled Buhari's campaign, and transported him around the world with his $18 million private jet. Now, this is just another 'hot pot of Lies. First of all, It is on record that Amaechi paid Rivers workers up to date, save one month salaries, before his exit from office. It is also not true that Amaechi owns an $18 billion jet that is a blatant lie!

This snake of a guy, went a step further to create a false image of disharmony between Jagaban, Asiwaju of the Universe, and Rotimi Amaechi. He lied that in one occasion, at a meeting of the stakeholders of the APC, Amaechi was very rude to Asiwaju Tinubu and insulted him. Another figment of his unstable imagination! This is where I lost any iota of regard for this demonic guy. I felt enraged that somebody could falsify events with such impunity. Is it not the same Chief Tinubu who recently hailed Amaechi as the "General of the Common Sense Revolution Army," that this rotten boy is talking about? What insolence!

At the end of his garrulous and perilous tale, he conspicuously marked the intention behind his madness, and thereby exposing those who are behind this sinister plot. Remi Oyeyemi hellishy suggested to President Buhari that he should not consider Amaechi for any ministerial appointment, because according to him, the lies, hate, and deceit which he accentuated in his satanic draft, is an indictment on a free citizen, in a democratic nation like Nigeria.

What Remi Oyeyemi and his paymasters have forgotten so easily is that during the Presidential Campaigns, President Muhammadu Buhari received more than this single dose of attack that they are now struggling to bring upon Amaechi. At least, Rotimi Amaechi's certificates are still intact, his origin has not been disputed, his children have not been abused, he has not been declared dead or brain dead, he has not been tagged as a religious and ethnic bigot, or a coup plotter or a dictator, or many other terrible things that were dumped on the reputation of President Muhammadu Buhari by Jonathan's henchmen. So, the President is not about to listen to PDP and its elements this time, they cannot dictate his choice of cabinet members or associates, with their cheap propaganda and slanderous opinions.

Let it be known to Remi and his faceless cohorts that black is black, and white is white, and no amount of white can make black to become white.
