SaharaReporters has confirmed that a Nigerian Air Force Plane crashed in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, in the northeast region of Nigeria today. Colonel Rabe Abubakar, the Director of Defense Information for the Nigerian Armed Forces, confirmed the plane crash to SaharaReporters citing that the cause was likely poor weather.
The details of the crash and number of dear or injured was not immediately known at the time of publication.
