The Adamawa State government has suspended Professor David Joshua Shall the Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi.
Similarly the Bursar of the university Mr. Kumthi Ezra Anjili has been suspended in same vain
Mr. Hammandabo Dauda, the information officer of the university who confirmed the news to newsmen in Yola, said that the State Government through the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Umar Bindir, has approved the appointment of Dr. Moses Zarwa, as the Acting Vice Chancellor.

Dauda, who stated that the reason for the suspension of the VC was not made known, said that the university community is calm as normal academic activities have been going on.
Dr. Zarwa, before his appointment was the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, of the institution.
