Twin Suicide Bombing In Chad Leaves Five Dead And Fourteen Wounded

According to the Alliance France Presse (AFP) a twin suicide bombing on Sunday killed 5 people and wounded 14 others in the Chadian village of Ngouboua located in the Lake Chad region.

The suicide attacks were conducted by two women, the terrorist group Boko Haram is being blamed for the attack.  The tactic of utilizing female suicide bombers has become increasingly popular with the Boko Haram leadership.

The village of Ngouboua, which is located along the Nigerian-Chadian border, has experienced numerous attacks since Boko Haram first began attacks into Chad in February.  

The Chadian army has been heavily involved in the regional military operation against Boko Haram.
