Nigerian Military Arrests Two Most Wanted Boko Haram Suspects

In a press release issued by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SK Usman, it was alleged that Mr. Sadiq is suspect #28 on the list of 100 Boko Haram suspects. Colonel Usman also claimed that suspect #40, Mohammed Usman, was captured by the police of Borno State Command.

On Thursday the Nigerian Army announced the capture of Abubakar Sadiq in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. The army is claiming Mr. Sadiq is among the top 100 wanted Boko Haram terrorists the army has been pursuing since last month.

In a press release issued by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel SK Usman, it was alleged that Mr. Sadiq is suspect #28 on the list of 100 Boko Haram suspects.  Colonel Usman also claimed that suspect #40, Mohammed Usman, was captured by the police of Borno State Command.   

The colonel went on to state that the Chief of Army Staff,  Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, lauded the performance of both the military and the police.

Colonel Usman concluded his press statement with a plea that the Nigerian public continues to remain vigilant in the face of the Boko Haram threat.
