The Security agents who are supposed to arrest offenders are behind smuggling which its having negative impact to the economy.
It was recalled that the Federal Government announced Rice, Chicken, Groundnut oil has a contraband goods and also orders tight security about this goods. But persisting of smuggling goods still occurs with the help of Nigerian Security Individuals, especially in Lagos FOU zone Ikeja a lot of smugglers are aided in that area with the help of security agents.
These smugglers moves in a convoy where the security personnel will be in charge of the entourage and controlling them to fast - track their movement in other not to be seen. Customs are doing their best to curb these act but many irregularities are done in the security agencies.
