Following Kidnapping Of Sister Dickson Admits Failure On Bayelsa Security

Barely 72 hours after Nancy Keme Dickinson, the youngest sibling of Governor Seriake Dickson was abducted along with her sale girl at her shop on Okaka road, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State by unknown gunmen Governor Dickson announced he is ready to crush the recent surge in kidnapping and criminality which has ravaged parts of the State.

During a security meeting on Tuesday, Governor Dickson said the government has finalized plans to unfold a comprehensive security framework to address the current trend of insecurity across the State.

Consequently, the governor warned that anybody found culpable will be dealt with in accordance with the criminal laws of the State and country.

A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, stressed that people should not hastily ascribe motives behind the recent kidnappings until a full investigation is made into the matter.
