There is a recruitment agency collecting money from job seekers without giving them job offers in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
I am an investigative journalist based in Asaba the Delta State capital. I already have this story in my blog, but since you have more readers i decided to send your media the story. There is a consultancy agency that has littered the streets of Asaba with job vacancies in virtually all areas of human endevour. Curiously i decided to investigate the genuineness of the said massive employment. I paid a visit to the office located opposite ministry of women affairs primary school summit road, there were indeed hundreds of job seekers waiting on the queue to be attended to. The shocking revelation is that the manager collects between N1,000 to N1,500 from each candidate before feeling the application form. After the application with a short chart or interview as he calls it, there will be no job offer. The truth is that he offers very few hotel and cleaner jobs as against the massive vacancy he advertised.
After i left i sent him a text message: "Good day Mr Ugonna, I am an investigative citizen journalist from Saharareporters.com. we read a report online about your fraudulent job recruitment were you collect money from job seekers in Asaba, Delta State. Kindly tell us your own part of the story before we go live with our findings. You can either call or text this line". He immediately replied thus: "Good Day Mr Journalist. Any Such Information As Regards Being Fruadlent Is Totally Null And Void. I Run A Recruitment Firm In Asaba,f ully Registered By Cac. Which Have Been in Existence for More Than Three Years Now and I Recruit Workers for over 50 private organisations in asaba, presently. Both in the hospitality industries, production firms, Schools, etc. my organisation has as well engaged the services of a whole lot of applicants into most of these firms,Where They Are Currently Working With An Agreement That They Are To Give Us 40% Of There First Month Salary, Only, For Services Rendered. Thanks".

The he called back for about 5mins calls trying to curry a soft landing but he admitted collecting the fees calling it a "consultancy fees" which is against recruitment ethics.
