Mourners, Friends Condole Family Of Late Minister James Ocholi

Family members, friends, politicians, and other mourners paid their respects at the late minister’s Abuja house.

Nigerians condoled with the family of the late Minister of State for Labor and Productivity James Ocholi, who died in a car accident alongside his wife and son at long Kaduna-Abuja Road, on Sunday.

Family members, friends, politicians, and other mourners paid their respects at the late minister’s Abuja house. Among the dignitaries were Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Mohammed Bello, Minister of the Interior Abdulrahamn Danbazau, Senior Minister of Labor Chris Ngige, Minister of Sport and Youth Development Solomon Dalung, Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase, Senator Dino Melaye, and FRSC Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi. First Lady Aisha Buhari had visited the family earlier in the morning.

Speaking on behalf of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), A.S  Aromolowo urged members of the Ocholi family to hold themselves together and see the tragedy as a test of their faith. “I would like you to be strong in this time. We are with you,” he said.

Also speaking, Minister of Interior Danbazau prayed to grant the family and the country the fortitude to bear the loss and offered the Ministry’s support. He noted that the death of the minister was a shock to the country and urged them not to be weighed down in the face of the tragedy. 

At the time of this report, many professionals, leaders of industry, politicians, friends and others are still thronging the residence of the late minister to commiserate with the family members and encourage them in this time of grief.
