Role Model Africa, a business mentoring platform that aims at helping Ghanaian and African youths replicate the success of their business all over the continent and beyond, holds its third corporate dialogue May 22 in Accra.
Stakeholders will gather in Accra on May 22 to brainstorm on how to advance businesses and empower young entrepreneurs through use of new frontiers in media and entertainment.
The occasion is the third edition of Role Model Africa’s Corporate Dialogue series scheduled to hold at the African Regent Hotel, Accra.

Role Model Africa is a mentoring platform that aims at helping Ghanaian and African youths replicate the success of their business all over the continent and beyond.
The dialogue, which normally engages an African personality with continent-wide influence spans beyond the continent, includes an interview segment that engages the corporate contribution of the personality in focus.
Role Model Africa is an initiative by Invents, a human capital development organization that focuses on raising young people as leaders and entrepreneurs.

Co-founder and executive director of Invents, Samuel Agyeman-Prempeh, said the program is open to the general public and is set to attract key stakeholders from various parts of Africa. The event starts at 3pm.
Personalities normally featured in the dialogue series include African political leaders, corporate leaders, founders of churches and African global brands, decision-makers, and influential personalities in the arts, amongst others.
Theme of this May 22 event is 'Projecting New Frontiers in Media and Entertainment to Sustain the African Business'.
On the hot seat will be CitiFM’s director of news, Bernard Avle; and legendary hiplife artiste Michael Okyere Darko, popularly known as Obrafour.
Avle, host of the Citi Breakfast Show, will share perspectives on the area of the media. Recently adjudged one of Ghana’s 20 Most Influential Business Leaders Under-40 by the renowned Business World magazine, will be the youngest personality so far to be hosted on the Corporate Dialogue series of Role Model Africa.
A Chevening scholar and Edward R Murrow journalism fellow Avle, who has about 15 years experience in broadcasting, will share his story from his days as a volunteer broadcast journalist at the University of Ghana's 'Radio Univers' to his current role of overseeing a team of young hardworking news professionals producing and covering news for his country Ghana and a host of audiences online; and, hosting of the interactive 'Citi Breakfast Show', which was adjudged the Interactive/talkshow of the year by BBC Africa’s Radio Awards in 2007.
Affectionately dubbed 'Ghana Rap Sofour', literally Ghana's rap priest, Obrafour, would be sharing his insights on the area of entertainment.
As owner of the Execution Records label, the musician has succeeded in using his platform to unearth several talents in Ghana’s music scene.
Obrafour's songs include 'Maame', a track which has become a Mothers’ Day theme song for most Ghanaians; and, his lead single ‘Nya NteteE Pa’ (Be disciplined), a song which coincided with his effort to join the then Ghana Vice President's initiative to fight indiscipline in the country.
The award-winning artiste would address the audience on new ideas that can be leveraged to sustain the entertainment industry particularly music.
Since October 2007, Invents has been consistent in using personal Leadership models and projects to reach out to millions of young people through its mentorship hubs on various tertiary campuses as well as other projects including the She Magnate Project, Role Model Africa, and Ideas Pulpit.
These events have attracted remarkable personalities including Bishop N.A. Tackie-Yarboi , founder and presiding Bishop of VBCI; Dr. Yaw Perbi , Global C.E.O. of the HuD Group; Dr. (Mrs.) Ellen Hagan, founder and C.E.O. of L’aine Services, and Mrs. Comfort Ocran, co-founder of Legacy and Legacy.
Role Model Africa’s maiden edition featured former World Bank technocrat Dr. Samuel Onwona as guest.
