The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Rabiu Yusuf has advised herdsmen living around the notorious Falgore forest in Doguwa Local Government Area of the State to organise themselves and settle in one place.

The herdsmen have been described as living in clusters at the bank of the forest,

The commissioner said coming together at one place will make security operations easier to carry out their duties effectively.

He said, on Friday, during an assessment visit to some communities affected by the activities of kidnappers and armed bandits in the area, that if the herdsmen could settle in one particular location, it will assist the police in checking the activities of kidnappers and other agents threatening the peace and security of the area.
