Boko Haram Releases Video Rant Against Buhari and Other Nigerian Officials

Abubakar Shekau's faction of Boko Haram releases video showing signs of desperation as a consequence of ongoing military action. The short clip also showed some villagers being whipped for either being in possession of drugs and alcohol or consuming it in the areas probably under their control in Sambisa and environs. The video only showed a speaker preacher ranting about the Nigerian government surrounded by gunmen and a crowd apparently of villagers held hostage chanting in agreement at intervals. The video was released exclusively to a prominent freelance journalist knowledgeable about the sects operations.
