Court Dismisses Metuh's Applications, Trial Commences Tomorrow

A Federal High Court in Abuja today dismissed two applications by the former Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh.

Justice Okon Abang ruled that the application to stay proceedings in the matter and challenging the refusal to release his international passport lacks merit and refused them.

The Appeal Court and Supreme Court had both dismissed Metuh's appeal against the court's ruling.

Metuh was accused of receiving the sum of N400m arms fund from the former NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki through his company, Destra Investment Ltd.

The trial is to commence tomorrow.
