Corpses Of Victims Of Herdsmen Attack In Benue Village Arrive Church For Mass Funeral

The corpses of victims of recent herdsmen attacks at Omosu village in Edumoga community of Okpokpwu LGA, in Benue state, have arrived St. Bernard open field, Okpoga, for mass funeral.

The state had last week put off the planned mass burial for the victims after the Idoma the community kicked against it, saying it was not part of their culture.

After the Mass funeral at the church this afternoon, the corpses would each be carried to their respective families for final burial.
