Adamawa Govt., Others Happy Over The Release Of Dapchi Schoolgirls

 

Adamawa commissioner for information, Mr. Ahmad Sajoh has said the state government is happy over the release of girls kidnapped from Dapchi town in neighbouring Yobe State by Book Haram insurgents early Wednesday morning.

While speaking to journalists on Wednesday, the commissioner said the news of the release of the girls was good  and the government of Adamawa state is indeed very happy about it.

A representative of Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency, Adamu Kamale who also spoke with pressmen expressed his happiness with the development which he described as “answer to our prayers.”

Kamalae also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for his efforts to get the girls released. He urged the President to intensify the efforts so as to secure the release of those abducted in other places, including his constituency.

Some students who were  interviewed  also expressed their happiness over the release of the girls while pleading with the  government to take more concrete steps to avoid further abduction.
