BREAKING: PDP's Olusola Eleka Unable To Vote As Card Reader Fails To Accredit Him

A SaharaReporters correspondent at Ikere Ward 2 Unit 6 said upon arrival at the polling unit, Eleka made his way to the polling unit for accreditation but was unable to do so, as the card reader failed.

Professor Kolapo Eleka, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the EKiti State governorship election, is currently unable to cast his vote, as the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) reader failed at his polling booth.

A SaharaReporters correspondent at Ikere Ward 2 Unit 6 said upon arrival at the polling unit, Eleka made his way to the polling unit for accreditation but was unable to do so, as the card reader failed.

If this issue is not resolved, Eleka won't be able to vote, as INEC rules state that all prospective voters must be accredited before they can vote.

However, Kayode Fayemi, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), arrived at his polling unit 009, Ward 11 and was successfully accredited at Oye LGA at exactly at10:19 am in preparation to cast his vote.
