Saraki Meets With IBB Behind Closed Doors

It was not immediately clear what Saraki's mission was in Minna, as the meeting is coming a few hours after he addressed a 'World Press Conference' following the Tuesday invasion of the National Assembly by the Department of State Services (DSS). Saraki had been asked if he would contest the 2019 presidential elections, but he had declined to give a direct response to the question.

Senate President Bukola Saraki is currently in a closed-door meeting with former military ruler, General Ibrahim Babangida.

The meeting is taking place at Babangida's residence in Minna, the Niger State capital.
