I Have Retired From Music, Says GT Da Guitarman

In his response to a post on his birthday, GT Da Guitarman confirmed his retirement, saying: “Thanks baba..u know this una music industry na..mo ti retire jare. Lol. mi o se mo".

Olugbemiro Tokunbo, popularly known as GT Da Guitarman, has said he has retired from the Nigerian music industry.

The singer, who is celebrating his birthday today, stated this while responding to a birthday wish from Lanre Lawal, Brymo’s manager.

Lanre made a post on Instagram, where he wished the singer a happy birthday.

“Brother. Friend. Great guy! One day I’m going to write about the awesomeness and greatness that is GT. Happy birthday my billionaire friend. Oga, hope that retirement talk na play sha,” Lanre's post read.

In his response to the post, GT Da Guitarman confirmed his retirement, stating that “Thanks baba..u know this una music industry na..mo ti retire jare. Lol. mi o se mo.”

The Economics graduate is known for singles like 'Ori Olola', 'Ejika' and 'No Fear'.
