The chairman of the the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Babatunde Balogun, said there would be a total shutdown of activities if the Federal Government refused to approve the N30,000 minimum wage being demanded by the organised labour by the last day of the year.

Senior civil servants in Oyo State, under the umbrella of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, yesterday described the economic policy of the federal government, Economic Recovery and Growth Plans, as war against Nigerians.

They said this in Ibadan at their annual capacity building lecture and maiden award ceremony.

The chairman of the association, Babatunde Balogun, said there would be a total shutdown of activities if the Federal Government refused to approve the N30,000 minimum wage being demanded by the organised labour by the last day of the year.
