Buhari won all the 27 Locals Government Areas (LGAs) in the result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Borno.
President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 841,736 votes to emerge winner of the presidential election held in Borno State.
Professor Saminu Abdulrahman Ibrahim, the State Collation Officer and Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Univeristy, Bauchi, who declared the result, said Buhari defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled just 65,414 votes.
