On Monday night the RAI program Report broad-casted an half an hour investigative story on the faked conspiracy investigation with a main focus on lawyer Amara, a key external lawyer of ENI, who got arrested
with a Sicilian prosecutor. Amara spilled the beans (against Massimo and Claudio Granata, head of security and institutional relations in Eni, very close to Descalzi).

Amara openly admitted that him and Granata spoke to number two under PM Renzi to stop the first story on Opl245 of Report. Amazing. But they failed as we know.
Then Armanna is longly interviewed and he talks a lot about the role of Amara and Mantovani. Very interesting, this means that Armanna is still willing to talk on Opl245...hope he will show up in court.
Zingales is interviewed again and frontally attacks Renzi. Litvack is mentioned several times but not interviewed.
On Report web site you find the transcipt of the story too, but so far only in Italian.
Amara was also involved in other murky deals involving Eni in Sicily with very serious impacts on local communities' health.
Eni kept a low profile on the web - they got helped by media attention to the Notre Dame tragedy in Paris. On sunday Ferrarella covered on Corriere the issue that Amara got paid millions of Euro of consultancy throughout the years by Eni - as if Amara used this money also for other purposes. Amara and Mantovani were still having dinner together in 2017 when Amara was investigated.

It is amazing how murky is Eni as a company. The truth goes always behind imagination with them.
