The no less thatn 500 athletes and officials from different wrestling clubs in Nigeria are expected to converge in Yenogoa the capital of Bayelsa State, for a classic Tournament.
The Nigeria Wrestling Federation (NWF) disclosed that the tournament is scheduled for 15th and 30th June, 2019 which the is third Governor Dickson National Classics.
The game have gotten full support from the Bayelsa State Government agreed a host, due to the lack of sponsorship suffered in the previous edition.
The location for the classic tournament is the Indoor Sports Hall of the newly-refurbished Samson Siasia Sports Stadium in Yenagoa, and will also be used to select athletes that will represent Nigeria at the 12th All-Africa games in Morocco and the 2019 World Wrestling Championships in Kazakhstan in September.
