BREAKING: Togolese Protest Against President Gnassingbe’s Fourth Term In Lagos

Thousands of Togolese are currently protesting at Onikan, Lagos.

The Punch reports that the men and women, many of whom came from Togo for the protest, said they wanted an end to the government of Faure Gnassingbe, who is seeking a fourth term in government.

Togo has been ruled by the Gnassigbe family for over 59 years.

They are seeking help from the Economic Community of West African States and the Nigerian government.
