The Oyo State Police Command has paraded four illegal arms dealers who concealed 10,000 cartridges for supply to some suspected criminals in the state.

Among the suspects were two young ladies found to be in possession of a double-barrelled pistol, on their way from Mushin, Lagos State to Iseyin in Oyo State, allegedly to carry out a criminal act.

At the parade ground of Eleyele Police Headquarters, Ibadan, the Police Commissioner in the state, Shina Olukolu, advised residents to be wary of criminals.

The arms dealers arrested at the Oke-Bola area of Ibadan included Adekunle Abimbola, Abel Kojo, Mukaila Ariyo, and Ade Adebayo confessed that they had been in the business of arms and ammunition supply for many years without a license.

The suspects told journalists that hunters, not armed robbers and bandits, were their customers.
