Speaking with SaharaReporters, a family member of Onyemenam, who does not want his name mentioned, disclosed that the lawyer was abducted while on his way to inspect a property.
Hoodlums suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chike Onyemenam.
The abduction of the lawyer, our correspondent gathered, took place on Monday at Utulu Junction along Benin-Asaba Expressway under Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking with SaharaReporters, a family member of Onyemenam, who does not want his name mentioned, disclosed that the lawyer was abducted while on his way to inspect a property.
He said, “The kidnappers have established contact with the family and demanded N15m as ransom to release Onyemenam.”
When contacted over the issue, the Delta State Police Commissioner, Adeyinka Adeleke, said that he was not aware of the matter.
