The 'Protection from Internet Falsehood and Manipulation' bill has now passed second reading at the Senate.

Sani Musa, a senator from Niger State, moved the motion for a debate on the bill at the plenary on Wednesday.

The bill seeks to regulate social media usage in Nigeria.
