JUST IN: Ex-President, Obasanjo's House Gutted By Fire In Abeokuta

It was reported that the fire, which started at about 10pm on Wednesday, was caused by power surge.

A building belonging to former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, situated at the Ita-Eko area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, has been consumed by fire.

It was reported that the fire, which started at about 10pm on Wednesday, was caused by power surge.

The incident was also confirmed by the Ogun State Director of Fire Service, Fatai Adefala.

He however, said the fire had been put out.
