Police Arrest Three Men For Stealing Body Parts At Cemetery

The men including Dauda Tijani, Olawale Shodolamu and Seun Falana, a staff of Trinity Cemetery, were arrested by a team of policemen from Area E Command, FESTAC, while on routine stop and search patrol at Alakija bus-stop along Badagry Expressway.

Three men are in police custody for allegedly stealing body parts from a cemetery.

The men including Dauda Tijani, Olawale Shodolamu and Seun Falana, a staff of Trinity Cemetery, were arrested by a team of policemen from Area E Command, FESTAC, while on routine stop and search patrol at Alakija bus-stop along Badagry Expressway.

According to spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Bala Elkana, Tijani confessed that he was sent by a herbalist to collect the skull from the cemetery attendant.

The herbalist also confessed that he usually grinds human skull together with other substances to prepare herbs and charms for customers.

Elkana said, “The third suspect was equally arrested. He confessed digging out graves to remove human skulls to sell to herbalists.”
