United States Records 1,169 Coronavirus Deaths In 24 Hours

At least 1,169 persons have died of Coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the United States – the single daily highest anywhere in the world.

With 5,926 deaths and 245,570 confirmed cases, the US faces the toughest challenge among nations confronted with the virus.

This comes amidst concerns for the safety of health workers helping to treat cases in the face of limited supply of needed medical kits and vital equipment.

On the other hand, Europe is by far the continent with the highest number of infections as more than 500,000 cases have already been confirmed.
