Governor Ahmadu Fintiri had signed an executive order to back up the lockdown he imposed after the index case of Coronavirus was recorded last Wednesday.
A mobile court in Yola, capital of Adamawa State, has convicted 21 persons for violating the movement restriction order put in place by the state government to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.

A total of about 50 persons were arraigned on Monday out of which 21 were convicted and sentenced to two-hour community service.
The convicts were ordered to sweep part of the Jimeta Modern market in Yola.
Magistrate Daniel John, who handed down the judgment, had acquitted 29 accused persons arraigned by the police.
Speaking earlier, spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, said security forces were working in synergy to enforce the lockdown order.
He said, "We have arrested a number of motorists and they will appear before a mobile court."
