Abdullahi Sule, governor of the state, made the announcement on Friday while speaking with journalists.
He said 78 samples were taken to NCDC but 13 returned positive.
He added out of the 13 new cases, four had close contact with the late House of Assembly member, Sulieman Adamu, who died of Coronavirus.
