Nigeria Records 12 New COVID-19 Deaths As Cases Rise In Lagos

In the latest figure released by the NCDC, Lagos announced 192 new cases.

The Nigerian government has recorded 12 new COVID-19 deaths in the country.

This was contained in the daily update on Coronavirus shared by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday as Nigeria records 416 new cases.

The new figures take the total deaths to 299.

According to the agency, Lagos, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria, accounts for 49% of the national total.

In the latest figure released by the NCDC, Lagos announced 192 new cases.

Edo and Rivers States follow Lagos with 41 and 33 new cases respectively.

Lagos, Kano and the Federal Capital Territory remain the top three states with most cases with 5,135, 958 and 674 cases respectively.
