UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, Self-Isolates After Contact With Confirmed COVID-19 Case

Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has gone into self-isolation after one of his contacts tested positive for COVID-19.

He made a recovery and was discharged on April 12.

His new shave with the virus came after he met with some members of parliament on October 12 for 35 minutes at his official residence.

One of those present, Lee Anderson, MP for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire, has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a tweet, Johnson confirmed the situation, saying, “Today I was notified by NHS Test and Trace that I must self-isolate as I have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

“I have no symptoms but am following the rules and will be working from Nos 10 as I continue to lead the government’s pandemic response.”
