The traditional ruler of Umueze Nguru in the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of the state, Eze Charles Iroegbu has been abducted by unknown gunmen.

Some cabinet chiefs of the kingdom who accompanied him to the function were also abducted.
The incident has caused panic in the community.
There has been a spate of attacks by unknown gunmen lately in Imo state.
