US President Wouldn’t Seek Medical Treatment In Nigeria – Pastor Ighodalo Blasts Buhari Over UK Trip

Ighodalo noted that if the United States’ aged President, Joe Biden, would not think of coming to Nigeria for medical treatment, Buhari should not be visiting foreign countries for routine treatment.

The Senior Pastor of The Trinity House Church, Lagos State, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, has criticised President Muhammadu Buhari for taking a medical trip to London, United Kingdom, saying Nigerians have good doctors.

Ighodalo, in an interview on Arise TV, noted that if the United States’ aged President, Joe Biden, would not think of coming to Nigeria for medical treatment, Buhari should not be visiting foreign countries for routine treatment.

The cleric warned that political leaders should not grab power to “put people in bondage” but to liberate them.

He said, “How long is a man going to live? I am 60 now. How much energy does one have left? How much life does one have left? How many clothes is one going to wear? There are people dying.

“My President leaves this country and goes to London for medical treatment. What for? I can only forgive him because of his age. But honestly, why would he do that? Imagine a Biden coming to Nigeria and saying he is coming to look for medical treatment?

“What kind of nonsense is that? When some of the best doctors in the world are Nigerians; I can tell you that in his (Buhari) medical protocols, there would be at least four Nigerians looking after him. It is because they are stranded in England and not being able to use their resources.

“Nigeria has exported all its competent hands, thrown them into the sea and they are working for other nations, building other nations. We have eight Nigerians in Biden’s cabinet. Eight of them are doing all sorts of fantastic things – writing his speeches, making his policies and if these people come to Nigeria, we will frustrate them. They will be jobless. What kind of nonsense is that?

“It is enough. Honestly, it is enough and we must tell each one of them and name them. What are you looking for power for? Just to put people in bondage? It is enough.”
